Begin with the breath

Take a few moments to set an intention for your day soon after waking. Notice how it feels to be supported by your bed...and breathe deeply. Feel your belly rise like a balloon. Let it all go with a long, slow sigh. Do this three times, paying attention to how the breath feels in your body. Now turn to your mind. How do you want to show up today? How will you support yourself throughout your day? Self-care isn't only for vacation. It is for everyday. Wellbeing is a skill you can practice. One way is to begin with the breath.
